I watched the episode, felt the HORROR AND SHOCK AND LOSS that I was probably supposed to feel, and then packed it all away into a little box. The box is named 'denial' and will remained locked until the fifth episode is over. If, at that time, Ianto is still... well. The box will be smashed with the 'AU Head Canon' hammer.

...I am intensely amused, especially after reading through the reactions over at Sam's, that my first instinct was to repress. *facepalm* Because it's what I do, and this numb feeling means I was more attached then I thought I was.
